Just 4 Fun

I was writing a story ya know for fun adn here's what I have so far. The story idea I got from my friend.

“I didn’t do it. Yes. I live near the crime scene but why would I? Why would I do that? I don’t have a criminal record; I’m not a bad person. I was framed. And as being a victim, it is my job to find out what happened, to prove, myself and maybe some others, innocent, and put the right person in jail. This is my job, my duty; my life depends on this, literally.

I am a victim of 3^rd degree murder. I am unjustly blamed for this, and some of my supposed “Partners in Crime” are under close watch too. The real criminal would be charged with rape, murder, and robbery. As a victim I want this person in jail, as a detective, though, I want to do good to the citizens. If he/she  does get in jail that’s like a bonus.

Now who am I?  That I can’t tell you, its confidential information; if I tell you the police might find me and I could go to jail, be put under house arrest, or worse. You must prove your trust and even then I’m not sure."
